News of Lake Placid Institute's 12-day Summer Music Seminars is spreading like wildfire in the international music community due to the excellence of its staff. The faculty includes Grammy winners, internationally renowned soloists and leading musicians from the world's top orchestras. The performance series showcases the talents of both students and faculty.

The final program of the 2003 Lake Placid International Voice Institute Seminar, featuring arias and art songs sung by mezzo soprano Jennifer Lane, soprano Jacqueline Bobak, tenor Ian Patridge, and selected participants from around the world.

7 Trumpets of the Apocalypse • August 2
Imaginative settings of creative trumpet musci from the past to the present, featuring trumpeters dward Carroll, Mark Gould, Markus Stockhausen, and selected participants from 2003 Lake Placid International Trumpet Seminar.

The concert series is presented in partnership with the Royal Academy of Music, London, with assistance from the YAMAHA Band and Orchestral Division.
