July 5 - The Zucchini Brothers
This zany trio of singers accompany themselves on guitar, piano and percussion in a toe-tapping, finger-snapping musical program.
July 7 - Peter and the Wolf
The Lake Placid Sinfonietta will enchant audiences in symphonic harmony with the delightful tale of Peter and the Wolf.
July 12 - Roy Hurd
The best known singer-songwriter in the Adirondacks blends storytelling, quick-witted spontaneity, humor and song into a program for all ages.
July 26 - Fun with Flutes!
Edward Carroll, Music Director of the Lake Placid Institute, hosts this lively program by some of the world's brightest flute talents.
July 28 - Red Wing Puppet Theater
Artistic Director, Chuck Meese, has toured with the internationally acclaimed Bread and Puppet Theater and presents a fast-paced blend of puppetry, music and physical comedy.
August 2 - Making a Dance, Making a Dancer
Rebecca Kelly Ballet will present an exhilarating program of contemporary dance featuring the Company in their 21st anniversary season.
August 4 - On-Stage Performance: Dances by Kids!
Kids Co-Motion and the On-Stage Workshop showcase the culmination of their two-week dance camp program with the Rebecca Kelly Ballet.
August 16 & 18 - Wonderland
A Children's Musical Story. TWO SHOWS! The Seagle Music Colony tells a musical fairy tale complete with a castle, wizardry and true love.
August 23 - Professor Marvel's Olde Tyme Magic Medicine Show
Novelty Acts! Comic Stunts! Mind-Reading! Eye-Popping Illusions! Hilarious Audience Participation! A rousing, rib-tickling revival of traveling variety shows of bygone days.

MISSOULA CHILDREN'S THEATRE Children's Theatre Workshops
AUGUST 7 - AUGUST 12
AGES 5 - 16 years. A five-day theater workshop to prepare and
perform a full theatrical production of Cinderella under the direction of the
internationally acclaimed theatre. MCT's mission
is the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing
arts. Their week-long residency creates an arena for local talent of all ages
to participate in large-scale productions with sets, costumes and live musical
accompaniment.
Students must AUDITION on MONDAY, AUGUST 7 at 9:30am. Approximately 50 roles are available. No advanced preparation is necessary. Students will rehearse four hours each day (August 7 to August 11) scheduled between the hours of 10am and 3pm depending on the roles. The workshop will culminate in two performances on AUGUST 11 at 7pm and AUGUST 12 at 10:30am. There is no fee to participate, but participants MUST AUDITION on AUGUST 7 at 9:30am - NO EXCEPTIONS.
